ORTHPARTNERS Opens in Munich with a Nine-Member Legal Team—the Firm’s Fifth Office in Germany
ORTHPARTNERS opened its fifth office on August 1, 2026. With the addition of Munich, the firm now has a presence in another major business hub, 16 months after its launch in April 2025.
A team of nine attorneys is moving from a medium-sized law firm with offices throughout Germany toORTHPARTNERS. All of the attorneys were previously based in the Bavarian capital. Several support staff members are also joining the new team.
The newORTHPARTNERS legal team in Munich includes:
– Andreas Pannier, Partner
– Simon Kopp, Partner
– Ervis Caja
– Michael Henri Ertl
– Zamira Gashi
– Stephan Kleber
– Dr. Johannes Krause
– Marie-Luise Scriba
– Helena Tesch
The attorneys in Munich focus primarily on public and private construction law, (construction) procurement law, municipal law, and public commercial law. They strengthen the firm’s expertise in real estate law and procurement law and serve clients primarily from southern Germany.
“With the Munich team, we’re not only gaining extensive expertise in construction and public procurement law, but also nine new, highly motivated colleagues,” says Dr. Anke Empting, a partner atORTHPARTNERS and an expert in public procurement law and public commercial law.
Andreas Pannier explains the Bavarian team’s move: “In particular, the professional collaboration with the real estate law team and the opportunity to expand our public sector practice alongsideORTHPARTNERS’ existing team motivated us to find a new home atORTHPARTNERS. Furthermore, the firm’s unique spirit inspired us from the very beginning. The palpable energy and collaborative spirit reflect exactly the team ethos that we, too, embody.”
Targeted Growth
A few weeks ago,ORTHPARTNERS significantly expanded its Berlin team and further strengthened its real estate law practice. At the same time, demand for expertise in construction law is on the rise. “With our new colleagues and our Munich office, we can meet this demand even more effectively. We grow where our clients need us. Our expansion into several major cities enables us to efficiently handle complex matters nationwide,” says Dr. Robert Orth, a partner atORTHPARTNERS, explaining the strategy behind the expansion.
With its new team in the Bavarian capital—the firm’s fifth office sinceORTHPARTNERS was founded in April 2025—the firm is continuing its steady growth and has once again chosen an economically significant location.ORTHPARTNERS now has a staff of over 50 attorneys.
