ORTHPARTNERS continues to grow: Two promotions and three new hires


’s Team of Attorneys Continues to Grow The corporate law firm ORTHPARTNERS is strengthening its partnership and further expanding its team. Effective April 1, 2026, Lawyer Reinecke will be named a partner, and Tobias Lunk will be promoted to director. At the same time, the firm welcomes three new colleagues. As a result, the team of attorneys at the four offices continues to grow and will reach 35 practicing attorneys by the end of April.

“With these promotions and new hires, we are consistently continuing our growth trajectory while simultaneously sharpening our areas of expertise at all our locations,” say Dr. Robert Orth and Dr. Robert Manger, who founded the firm last year. The firm intends to further expand its position as a modern full-service commercial law firm with a focus on service providers, industrial clients, and public sector clients in the coming months as well.


Nina Reinecke Becomes a Partnerat ORTHPARTNERS Nina Reinecke advises companies and public-sector entities, particularly on corporate law and transactions. She has extensive experience in matters involving corporate groups, such as restructurings or service relationships within corporate groups, for example, in groups whose primary focus is on public services. Before joining ORTHPARTNERS in 2025, she worked as Lawyer PwC Legal and EY Law. She works at the firm’s offices in Essen and Düsseldorf.

Tobias Lunk Appointed Directorof the
Tobias Lunk, LL.M. oec., has been advising clients for more than five years in all areas of contract and commercial law. In addition to drafting and negotiating complex contracts, he handles litigation and alternative dispute resolution matters and has particular expertise in arbitration proceedings (including DIS and ICC). A key focus of his practice is on German-Chinese mandates within the China Desk, drawing on his studies at Southwest University of Political Science and Law in Chongqing and his work at the German Consulate General in Shanghai. Before joining ORTHPARTNERS, he worked as Lawyer Taylor Wessing and the law firm orka.

Dr. Michael Kintrup joins the firm to strengthen its Commercial, Dispute Resolution, and Sports Law practices
Effective April 1, 2026, Dr. Michael Kintrup will also join ORTHPARTNERS’ Berlin office as Lawyer Director. He specializes in dispute resolution and contract drafting and represents clients in complex commercial litigation before courts and arbitration tribunals. A particular focus of his practice is providing comprehensive advice to clients in the sports industry: Michael Kintrup advises sports federations and clubs, athletes, and other key stakeholders in the sports business. With his arrival, ORTHPARTNERS is establishing sports law as a distinct practice area at the intersection of commercial law, litigation/arbitration, antitrust law, and compliance.

Associate: Louisa Herrmann
On April 16, 2026, Louisa Herrmann, LL.M. (London), will join ORTHPARTNERS as an associate. She will focus primarily on real estate law and will strengthen the Düsseldorf office. She gained practical experience in commercial law matters during her legal training and in her early career.
