Maximilian Strauß-Kallwass has more than 7 years of experience in advising on M&A transactions, restructurings and general corporate law issues, both domestically and cross-border.

A particular focus of his work is advising the public sector (in particular municipal utilities, cities, municipalities, etc.) and industrial companies on the structuring and implementation of restructuring projects, acquisition and sale transactions, including of networks and associated concessions, as well as on corporate law issues in connection with the municipal challenges of the energy transition and broadband projects.

Maximilian Strauß-Kallwass studied law at the University of Cologne and the University of Münster. He completed his legal clerkship in the Higher Regional Court district of Cologne, including stations at an international commercial law firm in Cologne and at the Permanent Mission of the Federal Republic of Germany to the OECD in Paris.
